Together We Can...
Create Permanent Stability for Alaskans
On any given night, Catholic Social Services shelters over 300 men, women and children between our two shelters, Clare House and Brother Francis Shelter. It is our goal to assist families and individuals staying at the shelter and experiencing homelessness elsewhere transition to permanent stability. This is how we break the cycle of homelessness. Last year, over 800 people experiencing homelessness were housed with the help of our Homeless Family Services (HFS) program and case managers. Housing these families and individuals through the HFS program is the first step in the transition to permanent stability.
Our shelters are the bedrock of all we do at CSS. Without their services we cannot work toward permanent stability. We are turning to our loyal donors and requesting funds for our 2020 Charity Ball Together We Can Campaign to help Catholic Social Services Create Permanent Stability for Alaskans.
Your investment in supporting our 2020 Charity Ball Together We Can Campaign will provide critical funding to continue building shelter resiliency, and therefore help reach permanent stability through our Homeless Family Services program.
